Luca "Kiella" Chiellini for sure doesn't like the idea of boring and his curiosity and determination brought him around the world performing for thousands of people, winning awards, recording albums as a sideman and under his own name, founding businesses and music contests, and so much more.  


2019 Blues Music Awards winning artist, Luca is based in Chicago but he surely doesn't forget his origins and splits his time and work between his motherland Italy and his country of adoption, the USA. Over the years he has toured worldwide in over 50 countries and 4 continents with top names in the blues, soul and funk music, he recorded and performed with Grammy Award winning artists and he even had the honor of performing for President Barack Obama in 2016.

Entrepreneur and multifaceted artist touching most genres of music, Luca now focuses his career on his band "Luca Kiella" and on his production company Cypress Road Productions,LLC.

Born and raised in Tuscany at the address Via Del Cipresso ("Cypress Road"), there was only one possible name for his production company.
Luca Chiellini founded "Cypress Road Productions" to create original music for television, motion picture, video games, advertising campaigns.  
He collaborates internationally with composers and producers.

Luca Kiella released his EP “Figure It Out” in April 2019, putting his name on the map of the American Blues scene as a solo artist, showcasing his songwriting and vocal skills, together with his abilities as a Piano and Hammond Organ virtuoso. The diverse and upbeat album was well received worldwide by critics, radios and blues experts, securing him spots in established venues and festivals internationally.

Moving to Chicago in 2013 and making a name for himself as one of the premier keyboard players in the circuit, Kiella has toured internationally with major contemporary Blues, Roots and Funk acts such as Welch-Ledbetter Connection, Toronzo Cannon, Jamiah Rogers, Popa Chubby, Honey Island Swamp Band, Grammy award-winning artists Billy Flynn and Kenny “Beedy Eyes” Smith, and many more.

Kiella founded in 2018 the Chicago Blues Piano Contest, the first talent contest honoring and preserving the tradition of the prestigious piano style from Chicago. Amid the judges were Erwin Helfer, Marty Sammon (Buddy Guy) and Sumito Ariyo Ariyoshi (Billy Branch and SOB).
