" He’s got the beat, feel and vibe"

" Great lyrics with a strong voice and fine playing makes you realize

this is a very talented singer-songwriter.”

" Finding a home in the background of the Alligator stable, he delivers a rollicking good time in high octane fashion. With a dash of Jon Cleary in his quiver, he knows how to let the good times roll."

High energy performances with blues that’s infused with soul, funk and a bit of that New Orleans groove! Add strong vocals, intense songwriting, and a unique musical and personal heritage: this is Luca Kiella’s show. “He delivers a rollicking good time in high octane fashion. With a dash of Jon Cleary in his quiver, he knows how to let the good times roll." (Midwest Records)
His EP “Figure It Out” was released in April 2019, putting Kiella on the map of the American Blues scene as a solo artist, showcasing his songwriting and vocal skills, together with his abilities as a Piano and Hammond Organ virtuoso. The diverse and upbeat album was well received worldwide by critics, radios and blues experts.
Making a name for himself as one of the premier keyboard players in the circuit, Kiella tours internationally with major contemporary Blues, Roots and Funk acts such as Welch-Ledbetter Connection, Toronzo Cannon, Jamiah Rogers, Popa Chubby, Honey Island Swamp Band, Grammy award-winning artists Billy Flynn and Kenny “Beedy Eyes” Smith, and many more. While a member of the Welch Ledbetter Connection, Kiella received the 2019 Blues Music Award for “Band of The Year”.
When Kiella is not touring or overseas, you can find him playing amongst some of the greatest blues clubs Chicago has to offer such as Buddy Guys Legends, Rosa’s Lounge, Kingston Mines and House of Blues. Not only does he tour with his full band, but with his left-hand playing bass, he’s able to tour with his trio. A student of the tradition of the Jazz and Blues Hammond Organ, he leads the organ trio into a new direction, grooving funk, soul and New Orleans music!
